Janice Corkhum – Executive Director
4th degree Black belt in Cervizzi SDS, has been training for over 15 years and holds Black belt is Jujutsu. Manages dojos and teaches classes and private lessons. Also teaches Kickboxing at various dojos, has completed 5 Boston Marathons, 4 Goofy Challenges and 2 Dopey Challenges in Disney and loves spending time with her 2 daughters. She is also a Graduate of Bridgewater State.
Diana Dustin – 2nd Assistant Director
Sensei Diana has been studying the martial arts for over 12 years - She holds the rank of 4th degree Black belt in Cervizzi's Self Defense and 2nd Degree Black Belt in Jujutsu. She is Chief Instructor in the Lynnfield Dojo and she is very invested in her students martial arts training, If you are looking for Diana on Sundays, you can usually find her at Bingo!
Luke Kimball – Assistant Director
Sensei Luke has 11 years martial arts experience and is a 2007 graduate Merrimack college-3rd degree black belt in Cervizzi Self Defense System -Black Belt in Japanese Jujutsu/Judo He was also a -High School Wrestler (placed 3rd in State of Massachusetts at 145 lbs. Lynnfield High School Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee and is Currently Chief instructor of Cervizzi's Martial Arts Academy North Andover Luke is very active the community and gets involved in his students lives and families.
Kristine Smith – Chief Black Belt Instructor
Sensei Kris has been studying martial arts for more than 30 years. I received my 1st degree black belt (Shodan) in December, 1992 and started teaching shortly thereafter. She has been teaching approximately 22 yrs. I received my 5th degree black belt (Godan) in April, 2012. In addition to our Cervizzis SDS program, I've been involved in our Jujutsu program for the past 5 years and received my 2nd degree black belt
Emily Donnellan – Senior Black Belt Instructor
Emily began studying martial arts at the age of 14 and is currently a fourth degree black belt in Cervizzi SDS. She teaches group and private lessons at the Lynnfield location. Emily holds a Masters of Arts in Moderate Special Education from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Arts with a Concentration in Elementary Education from Endicott College. She is currently a Special Education teacher in the Saugus Public Schools.
Walter MacCauley - Black Belt Instructor
Walter has been studying martial arts for 13 years, since and loves teaching kids of all ages. He is currently a 1st degree Black belt with hopes of achieving his 2nd degree in April 2016. He is a Suffolk University students by day, and Karate teacher by night. He loves grappling and competing in various tournaments.
Sensei Jake Stats
Jake has been studying with CMAA since the age of 5 years old. He is one of the favorites in the N. Reading dojo. His work ethic and commitment is truly remarkable and works hard every day. You can see Jake at a Comic Con event too!
Mark Loud – Chief Black Belt Instructor
Sensei Mark Loud is everyone's favorite instructor - He has been studying martial arts since the age of 12. He holds a 3rd degree Black belt in the Cervizzi's SDS. Mark loves to play guitar and is in a Band and you can see him play weekends!
Chris Crocker – Winthrop Dojo
At the age of 12 Chris began studying the Martial Arts with Master Paul Cervizzi when the school opened its doors in 1995. Chris was among the first of 6 black belts Master Cervizzi had promoted him in November of 1999 and is currently a 5th Dan in the Cervizzi’s Self Defense System. Throughout his Martial Arts career Chris has been dedicated to learning and teaching the martial way; developing and creating new programs at CMAA to help others reach their goals and dreams. His Martial Arts education has helped him focus and attain his B.SAt. degree and Masters degree in Architecture at Northeastern University. Chris along with his amazing wife Stefanie and three vibrant kids Christopher, Max, and Sophie have been longtime residence of Winthrop with which they enjoy traveling, being outside, and having fun with family.
Seth Winch - Andover
Seth Winch began his martial arts study as an adult, wishing to make a change in his life. His journey to Shodan rank, helped reach many personal goals. He now smiles a lot and can be heard with a loud ‘kiah’ or booming laugh – teaching or ‘playing’ karate! He is training for black belt in the Jujutsu program and continues to seek higher rank and understanding of the Martial arts way and life skills.
Andreia is certified instructor and teaches our kickboxing class in Lynnfield. She brings energy and enthusiasm each and every class. Andreia has been teaching for over 15 years in various types of classes, but kickboxing is her favorite!
Leslie is a Master Trainer and certified to teach Cardio Kickboxing, Contact Boxing, Sports Conditioning and Strength Training classes. The best feeling Leslie gets is seeing her clients sweating and smiling. That’s when she knows she’s done her job! Leslie’s Philosophy is to Train like an ATHLETE, Eat like a NUTRITIONIST, Sleep like a BABY, and Win like a CHAMPION!
Michele Kirousis has been a group fitness instructor for over 20 years. She holds an American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA) certification and loves teaching cardio kick boxing classes. Michele studied dance from an early age and graduated with a BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is passionate about enhancing the quality of lives of the people she encounters through dance and fitness. Michele is known for her energetic style of teaching and fun personality.
